Women’s Freestyle Wrestling

INWTC | AGES: 13U, 15U, 17U, 20U

ABOUT

This season, INWTC will host women’s-only freestyle practices at the MØDE Campus in Liberty Lake:

    •    Tuesdays & Thursdays

    •    6:00–7:30 PM

    •    MØDE Campus, Liberty Lake, WA

The MØDE Campus is home to Liberty Launch Academy, and serves as a centralized hub for education, athletics, and elite athlete development.

These sessions are intentionally designed to focus on techniques and strategies that work best for girls and women, creating an environment that accelerates development, confidence, and long-term success.

  • Athletes will have access to a structured competition schedule that includes:

        •    Tournaments

        •    Dual meets

        •    Regional and national qualifying events

These competitions allow youth and high school wrestlers to test their skills, gain experience, and earn qualification opportunities for national and world-level competitions.

  • Practices are structured to:

        •    Establish strong fundamentals appropriate for each age group

        •    Challenge athletes with elite-level techniques, drills, and systems

        •    Expose wrestlers to positions and strategies unique to freestyle wrestling

Freestyle wrestling provides a fast-paced, dynamic alternative to folkstyle. We strongly encourage athletes to use the spring season to step away from folkstyle and embrace the pace, creativity, and technical depth of freestyle wrestling.

  • As women’s wrestling continues to grow, INWTC—alongside MØDE—is fully committed to expanding opportunities, increasing access, and maintaining elite coaching standards. Together, we are invested in the long-term development of female athletes and in creating pathways that lead to college scholarships, national titles, and international success. Our coaching pedigree, facilities, and results speak for themselves.

ELITE COACHING

Coach Ivan “Delchev” Ivanov

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

All women’s practices will be led by Coach Ivan “Delchev” Ivanov, former Bulgarian Senior Women’s National Team Coach.

Coach Delchev’s résumé is virtually unmatched:

  • 8 Olympians

  • 23 World Team Members

  • 15 European Team Members

  • 8 Pan-American Team Members

  • Countless National Champions across multiple countries and age groups

There are very few coaches in the United States with this level of experience and proven success in women’s wrestling. This is a rare, potentially once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for athletes to learn from one of the world’s premier coaches.

INWTC is not focused on simply teaching girls how to wrestle.

Our goal is college scholarships, Pan-American Teams, World Teams, and elite international success.
